Enjoy the Holiday Garden Rail all lit up and decorated for the season during special evening hours. White lights sparkle along the tracks and miniature greens adorn the buildings. Bring a flaslight and help lead the way down the path to the garden rail as night falls.
December 4th there will be a special appearance by Pennsylvania Ballet’s George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker™ Sugar Plum Fairy and Mouse King from 5-6pm. Bring your camera and pose with these enchanting dancers for your family holiday photo!
On December 11, Bredenbeck’s Bakery in Chestnut Hill will give away (while supplies last) gingerbread cookies, a tasty treat of the holiday season.
For more snacks and hot cocoa, stop at the Compton Café which will be open during each Friday Night Lights event on the ground floor of the Widener Visitor Center.
